 ADNOC Distribution was established in 1973 as the first government-owned company specialized in the marketing and distribution of petroleum products in the United Arab Emirates.
Over the years, ADNOC Distribution has grown to be one of the largest petroleum companies in the Arab Gulf Region and has gained international recognition for its world standard products.
ADNOC Distribution has now adopted a new logo and corporate identity as a new approach to better serve our customers and meet the new challenges in a continuously evolving environment. ADNOC Distribution introduced a chain of new theme service stations offering payment by credit card and company electronic smart cards, in addition to the facilities of business centres and c-store shopping. ADNOC Distribution operates a vast network of petrol stations in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Western Area and Northern Emirates. These stations are equipped with the most advanced technology for automated car wash and vacuuming, lube bay and tire repair.
Aviation refuelling services commenced in 1982 at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Today ADNOC Distribution refuels more than 50 international airlines at Fujairah, Al Ain and Sharjah International Airport and Al Bateen Airport.
A Lubricants blending and packing plant commissioned by the company in 1979, has developed and expand to become one of the best such plants in the region. Whole ranges of new lubricant based on the latest international specifications are being blended and marketed locally and in the export markets including the GCC countries, Middle East, Far East, Africa and Europe.
The high quality of products and services maintained by ADNOC Distribution has been acknowledged by several international bodies. The ISO 9002 awarded in 1996 is just one example of the company’s commitment to quality standard.

Etihad Airways will be a platinum sponsor at the Al Ain Aerobatic Show, a major highlight of the international aerobatics event calendar, which will take place between Thursday 24 and Sunday 27 January 2008.
 The annual show, which is held under the patronage of H.H. Gen. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nayhan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, last year drew an audience of more than 125,000 people from more than 40 countries around the world.
The 2008 event is organised by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority under the direction of H.H. Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and Chairman of the Organising Committee and the Air Force and Air Defence.

Attendees will see impressive aerobatic teams from Italy, United States, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Jordan, Hungary, Saudi Arabia and Austria. Static displays are also a highlight of the event, with several jet aircraft of varying size and description on display for enthusiasts to photograph.
Etihad Airways entered the world-famous Guinness Book of Records for 2008 following the airline’s successful record for “the greatest weight difference during flight formation” at January’s Al Ain Aerobatic Show.
Captain Granger Narara, Etihad Airways’ vice president flight operations, flew into the record books as he piloted an Etihad Airbus A330-200 in formation with two stunt planes, a Sukhoi Su-26 and an Extra-300S.
