 شركة أبوظبي للمطارات شركة مساهمة عامة مملوكة بالكامل لحكومة أبوظبي وقد أنشئت في الرابع من مارس 2006  بهدف تطوير خدمات ومرافق الطيران في إمارة أبوظبي.
وقد تسلمت أداك مسؤولية إدارة وتشغيل مطاري أبوظبي والعين الدوليين اعتباراً من 28/9/2006. وتعكف الشركة حالياً على تنفيذ برنامج لتطوير مطار أبوظبي الدولي لمواكبة النهضة التنموية الشاملة التي تشهدها إمارة أبوظبي. ويشتمل البرنامج الذي تقدر تكلفته  بحوالي 26 مليار درهم على العديد من المرافق الجديدة من بينها مبنيان جديدان للركاب ومدرج جديد ومركز جديد للمراقبة الجوية ومنطقة حرة ومجمع للبضائع. وستتيح هذه المرافق رفع الطاقة الاستيعابية للمطار إلى حوالي 20 مليون مسافر في السنة بنهاية عام 2010 مع إمكانية مضاعفتها إلى أكثر من 40 مليون مسافر. 
أما مطار العين الدولي والذي يخدم المنطقة الشرقية من إمارة أبوظبي فقد بات يستقطب اهتمام شركات الطيران بفضل الموقع الإستراتيجي المتميز لمدينة العين وارتباطها بطرق برية حديثة مع كافة أنحاء الدولة إلى جانب قربها من خطوط النقل الجوي والبحري الإقليمية والعالمية. وتخطط شركة أداك للاستفادة من هذه المزايا لتحويل المطار إلى مركز إقليمي للشحن الجوي والطيران الاقتصادي. وقد وقعت الشركة مؤخراً اتفاقية مع ميدكس إيرلاينز، وهي أول شركة متخصصة في الشحن الجوي في دولة الإمارات، تقوم بموجبها شركة ميدكس إيرلاينز بتسيير رحلات شحن جوي منتظمة إلى عدد من الوجهات العالمية انطلاقاً من مطار العين الدولي.
