Miss Demeanour
Also set to light-up Al Ain’s skies will be the eye-catching bravado of Miss Demeanour - a Hawker Hunter built for Britain's Royal Air Force as a mark F.4 XF947, in 1956. Sporting the stunning 'atmospheric re-entry' paint scheme which took two years to design this is a favourite with photographers and the crowd alike.
This vintage Hunter is owned and flown by former Royal Navy instructor pilot Jonathon Whaley.
Jonathon started his flying career by joining the Royal Navy in 1965 at the age of 17 and has flown ever since. After gaining lots of experience in combat flying with the Navy he left and entered the world of competition aerobatics. He has even flown in the movies, look out for him in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" and "The Mummy"!
